Ron Kleuskens, 28 years old and living in Venray. In my spare time I can often be found on the football field (or in the hall) and in the gym. I started with a sales course, but eventually ended up with a broader study focused on marketing & communications. After that I started working.
My first real job was at an events company where I had also done my internship, but over time I noticed that I wanted something different. I noticed that building a bond with people always gave me great satisfaction. That’s why I started looking for a commercial position. That’s how I eventually ended up at Upforce, where I have been working for almost 5 years now.
No day is the same in this dynamic environment, which provides fun challenges.
Pleasant working atmosphere
At Upforce, the growth of internal staff, but also the employees who work for our customers, is really important. Opportunities are offered to further develop yourself, as long as you are clear and honest about your ambitions.
During the interview cycle, where you meet with your manager 4 times a year, you will make a plan together for your personal growth or the position you have in mind. I started as a commercial employee, after six months I moved on to become an account manager and now I lead the Sales & Account Management team. This is a good example of the opportunities there are within Upforce.
There is no power culture at all, but rather an informal atmosphere where you can approach anyone with questions or ideas. This creates a pleasant working atmosphere so that you always go to work with a smile. No day is the same in this dynamic environment, which provides fun challenges.
Solid foundation
I would like to grow nationally with Upforce. I think it would be great to open several Upforce branches throughout the country. Personally, I can still make progress in my current position, with the ambition to take another step higher. It remains to be seen exactly what step this will be, but the will is there!
The merger of various companies into Upforce has not always gone smoothly, but I am convinced that we can go very far. There is a solid foundation and this will have to be strengthened in the near future with people who want to help build it.
