My name is Alexandru Dragomir, 36 years young, married to my lovely wife and born and raised in Romania. I studied technology for maintenance and repair of industrial machines, but ultimately decided to take a different path. After my studies, my wife and I decided to go to the Netherlands to have a good chance of getting a decent job. We have been living in the Netherlands for 8 years now.
Before I started at Upforce, I had many different jobs, including working as a cashier, logistics employee, truck driver and assistant manager. One day when I was making a translation for someone, my team leader saw potential in me and so I started working at Upforce as a helpdesk employee.
With the right character and knowledge you can go very far within Upforce.
Possibilities for the future
As a helpdesk employee, I speak to many people every day and although not every conversation is positive, it always gives a good feeling to help people who need help. Whether they have questions about their salary, vacation, illness or something else, my colleagues and I are ready to help.

More than just a number
What I really like about Upforce is the team I work with, the flexible scheduling and the fact that you are more than just a number. For me it is important that you receive appreciation for what you do and I get the feeling that my work is really appreciated. Management strongly encourages open communication and they consider it important that you give your opinion.
Within Upforce I have a lot of freedom to be myself, opportunities to learn new things and grow as a person, without forcing me to become something I don’t want to.
