I did a paramedic study in Poland in 2014, but after I finished my study, I left my home in Poland to start a new life in the Netherlands. I also started the study business psychology, but wasn’t able to finish it because I became a mom. Between 2014 and 2018 I did many different jobs within the logistic sector. Via colleagues, I came across SEP Peeters and started as Back office employee. SEP Peeters has been merged with a few other agencies and eventually became Upforce.

Open to new ideas

What I really like is the fact that within Upforce, you can speak your mind and everyone is really open to new ideas. I presented the idea of a separate helpdesk department and the management actually implemented this. Together with one other colleague, I was the first employee of the helpdesk and now it has grown to 3 full time employees with me as team leader. To me, this shows that Upforce is truly open-minded and that there is a lot of potential for personal and professional growth.

I also have some personal goals that I would like to achieve. I want to get Dutch B2 level, finish my bachelor in business psychology, getting a green belt (preferably a black belt) in Lean Six Sigma and eventually also complete a MBA. My ultimate goal within Upforce would be the position of operational director or international recruitment director. You have to dream big right!
