Are you a motivated and practical team player who likes to take responsibility? For a modern production company in Meijel, we are looking for a Foreman who likes variety, keeps an overview and gets energy from managing processes on the work floor. Even without experience you are welcome, as long as you are willing to learn and dare to take responsibility.
As a Foreman, you will start by helping out in the production process so that you get to know all the work well. After an introductory period, you will take on more and more responsibilities such as quality checks, registrations and operational overview. Your job responsibilities are varied and include:
Starting up and setting up production machines
Preparing preservation baths for mushrooms
Checking packaging for accuracy
Participate in the production process, such as grilling products
Perform quality checks and report deviations
Perform daily cleaning tasks
Entering batch codes for traceability
Resolve minor technical malfunctions independently
You will work Monday through Friday in day shift from 08:00 to 17:00. During busy periods, you may temporarily work two shifts. Keep in mind that cleaning is an important part of your day – especially on Fridays the whole day is spent on this.
You speak good English (at least B2); basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus
You have basic knowledge of Excel and Word
You are reliable, proactive and physically fit (you regularly lift crates of 15-20 kg)
You enjoy working together in a team and taking initiative
Experience in food production or quality control is a plus but not a requirement
