This customer is an aluminium high-pressure die caster specialising in casting and
mechanical processing of products for various applications, including
automotive industry. With a focus on quality, innovation, and craftsmanship, we are
a leading player in the world of aluminium foundries.

As a tool setter, you are responsible for the maintenance and assembly of
moulds. You work according to clear work instructions and guidelines, so that together we
ensuring optimal production. The work is varied and regularly requires
your technical and spatial insight.

This is what you will do:

  • Maintenance and repair of moulds and trim dies
  • Dismantling, cleaning, lubricating and reassembling dies and trim stamps
  • Checking guards, core pullers, and sliders
  • Checking heating ducts for leaks
  • Assessing dies and trim stamps for wear and repairing where possible
  • Correct administrative recording of activities
  • Supporting production with tooling issues

You will bring:

  • Technical training at LBO/MBO level (e.g. automotive engineering)
  • Experience with tinkering and no problem getting your hands dirty
  • Willingness to work in 2 shifts
  • Good technical and spatial insight
  • Accuracy, quality awareness and attentiveness
  • You identify problems in a timely manner and take immediate action.
